Hi everyone, does anyone have any pictures please of a 38 ford pickup cowl Vent complete and working ? As everything on my truck is missing , no mechanism, handles , lid or anything . So don’t even know where to start with for looking for parts.

    thanks Ben

Thats a tough one . Put a want add on the Fordbarn for any an all related parts . There is a guy in ND that has allot of parts .You almost need a parts truck/cab to take parts off ,an put them right on ,next door. I started the same way on my 39 truck .I got all the parts ,but really didnt know how they went together

Do we think ol Henry woulda used the same stuff from car to truck? If so I'd be happy to shoot pics of all my 39 Std Tudor stuff for reference, and it might make searching easier. Others with more experience could chime in here...?

  7. The pictures of the vent mechanism from the '39 posted above is the same thing as what is on my '38. I have an extra vent door if you need it.

Some of the mechanism since the dash panel is still out starting with the firewall mount through the opening:
