How do you change a logo? Well first, it has to want to change.

Use the new style letters in the old surround -- simple and easy update that gives a nod to the old.

  4. I was wondering where all the post regarding changing the logo came from? I even re read your post thinking I missed something the first time around.

I do like the current logo. It's perfect.

The titties are there already. There's four of them, in fact. They're just tastefully understated. One after each of the letters.

Oh, and there's a row of three pasties up top.

  8. Each of the LOGO's have their merits. The original is the HAMB, we don't want to update a "Picasso", do we?

I'll be the odd man out. I'd like to see a hypothetical new logo(s). Why put your foot down without knowing what might be in store? Just look at how many iterations there have been to the site over the past 2 decades. Did I like them all? Of course not. But I certainly wouldn’t want it to be exactly like it was 15 years ago.

I would. Well, I only joined 12 years ago but it was much wilder, less constrained, there were real characters, the advice was still good, you wouldn't dare even mention "billet" without ducking and Denise and Megan took road trips.

Hell yes! Tweak the pooch. I kinda like NEW IMPROVED SUPER H.A.M.B. Now that has a better ring to it, than NEW COKE did. What do you think Darren? Maybe we could ask Samantha. The logo could be in San Francisco "Mouse" psychedelic lettering. You know, so all the dudes and dudettes would think: Far freaking out, man! Whatch y'all thank? Let's get the tweaking ball rolling on this. Freaky Tweaky Geeky!!! Why so glum, chum? Seriously? I personally think Ryan can do no wrong. Howcome? Cause we're all his guests. And, it's his birthday party. An' he still has a wish to make.

    Too busy.
The traditional one is easy on the eyes and plain.
The new ones are too compressed and harder to make out.

I just saw that happen here locally with a company that has been in business for close to 100 years packing and shipping fruit for growers. True it was the family name of the family that had owned the company and there were no family members left in the company but that name was instantly recognized world wide as being one of the big purveyors of Washington Apples. Now they have a new name and logo that I can't remember even though they made a big deal of it when they changed. No doubt younger people in the front office who want to put their stamp on the company but at a cost.

Change is inevitable. Basic content being traditional hot rods and customs hasn't. That's what matters.
