Same as DDDenny. Mechanical speedo. You might like a GPS Speedo if you are going change gears much.

  2. One shot of the Summit gauges, I like the white faces. 521-011.JPG

Can't beat the accuracy of GPS , no matter the Tire size or Gear Ratio, (second pic is the GPS Sensor) IMG_0516.JPG IMG_0523.JPG

  5. I was going to say that I like S/Ws. I have been known to robe the Lucas gauges from an English sports car too.

As for speedo with your quicky it really don't matter the speedometer cable attaches to the tail shaft of the transmission or the front of the torque tube if you are using a conventional speedometer.

  17. I have the Marshall gauges. I like them but the LED odometer doesn't look traditional. They do seem to be accurate.

Bosch tach, Sun blue lines and SW 2" temp gauge phantomed behind the stock lens. Wanted something accurate with numbers on it!

I ran stock 6v gauges in a '47 tudor running 12volts for 2 years, sold...
I ran the hot wire to all but amp gauge through a "momentary switch",,,
depress it, read the gauges, let off the button and they sleep … HIH.

E32A5E89-A18F-424E-ABAE-81093D0131BF.jpeg Classic,s. You can compare indicated speed with a phone GPS and use a chart to calibrate the
Speedometer for any tire or gear ratio. Very simple.

I like the new Stewart Warner gauges but I read of people having issues with them.
