For you that don't know, "Found Art" is created by using articles of any type to make an artistic piece. I was first exposed to this last year when the local art college had a display of this type. Can't say that I really liked the pieces that much, but just yesterday I was given a one by a neighbor. This piece and many others were created by her mother, who was a self taught artist ( she even taught herself to weld). I found this interesting because some of the parts most will recognize! They have several outdoor art shows in this area every year. The ones most interesting to me are created from repurposed metal objects and the creativity of some of these people is just awe inspiring. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing some very creative art work.
They always told me that beauty was in the eye of the beholder and that is very true.

Two people can look at the exact same thing and yet see something very different.

Well, I sold the bird bath in Post #2 & actually found another one to replace it. I guess this one can be a planter or a fire pit. I found the bowl & the base about 100' apart in a local scrap yard. It's a lunker! And I couldn't leave without the old steel container, which will be a planter. My bother said when he worked at the Mack Trucks plant, they used those for parts storage....4000 lb. load capacity. It's amazing what you can find discarded.
