    Our run receives a lot of support from special people,none more than Ryan Cochran who this year went out of his way to print and ship out one off H.A.M.B./River City stickers.Coby Gewertz @ churchequipped designs our t-shirt/banner art every year & the crew at Hopup went to another level with stickers for our entrants.Thanks Ryan you are the boss.

    We try and pay homage to the birth of our run using H.A.M.B./Jalopy Journal images where we can

    For those of you who don't have a lot of knowledge of the Aussie scene, Swifty owns this;
    [IMG]
    and also has what is probably the most iconic T bucket in Aussie rodding history.

    Note: yes, I am a fan of Swifty's coupe (all their cars actually), so appologies if my photo's are a tad biased.

    Cheers,

  12. Great pics from a beautiful region of Victoria. ( i worked on the restoration of a few homesteads in that area in the 1970's) I often wondered where the tiny town of Launching Place got it,s name from. Just googled and there are two stories. 1 is in the late1800's boats were launched to go deeper into the gold fields and 2 is logs were launched to go down the river towards Melbourne. Anyhow i came across an old photo of the hotel and the speedy little roadster/sciff :cool: out front must be the local hotrodder :D

    I saw this happening and just had to capture the moment.

    Tony built this hot rod years ago and Garry has owned it for 23 years now.

    Killer cars! Looks like you're supposed to have cycle fenders, but can run without them until caught?
