  2. A few Kustoms from our 20th Groundhog Gala yesterday. Swiped a few shots from club member Swiss Mike.
Thomas Higginbotham walked away with Custom Award for his beautiful ‘55 Chevy
Been in family since ‘62, when his Pops bought it to be like the other guys in his club.
‘54 Ford Customline was so cool. Wish I would have taken a picture of custom sunsheild, snapped up into roof
Buick taildragger is Buick Nailhead powered and owned by local young gun/ next generation
‘49 Buick gets around, comes to most of our events. Looks great in that color

Rik Hoving posted the following kool Pics. Kool example its Only Metal Kut it up!

Kent Vikmo's beautiful 1940 Mercury over the years. Before the top was chopped the whole top was removed and the car was semi finished as a convertible. Later Ulf "Wolf" Christiansson did a fantastic job on chopping the top inspired by the Matranga Merc. The car was first finished in dark maroon Semi Gloss, and later finished in a beautiful dark red metallic paint. One of Sweden finest.

That is incorrect . I have always allowed finished cars, as well as work in progress. The main focus being traditional/period correct.

  14. And I will add it's nice to see that finished cars are coming back into vogue!

  15. Thats the direction I'm headed with my '47 Ford, the only reason it's not painted now is because of money. Looking forward to seeing more newly finished rides. BigO

  16. I know money situations are different for every one but the cost of painting a car yourself is really not as bad as people make it out to be. I was lucky and didn't have to pay for everything because I work in the indusrty but even if I had I doubt I would have $1500 in painting my truck. Excuse all the dust on it. Oh and I had never painted or done body work in my life before this project.

  17. I've painted most of my cars in the past but as of now I don't have a garage and no car guys to hang with where I'm living now so this slows down the process for me, by the way I like your ride. BigO

Does this have bags or hydraulics so it can raise up? Looks like those teeth will drag on the ground.
