I have a 1951 Ford F1 pickup, looking for recommendations on where to buy carpet. Last year I bought carpet from L** for my 65 GMC, didn't fit. I want to try some one else.

In my search at locating for a kit for a '46, I've not seen anyone making them for it or for the early F1's. There may be an outfit making them on a custom basis, but I haven't come across one of those either.

I googled it and found a few suppliers. The Ford Truck Enthusiasts forum is my favorite for model specific Ford truck info. The members will probably recommend suppliers based on their own experience. Maybe even post pics for you.

Thanks guys. I would like hear personal references for carpet. like I said the GMC I did last year the carpet would not fit, I don't want to go through that again.

  8. I got mine from Home depot. Indoor outdoor black loop area rug. F-1 has a pretty flat floor(stock), cut to fit.
Worked good for me, but mines not a show truck...

    I've used carpet from Lowe's.
