Event Coverage Blues' Photos .... GNRS 2020

I think you're right. I hadn't heard of those before, thanks for the info.

 

Here's the 4 car caravan we took to the show, w/ @39ChevyBob in the lead, his buddy in the hemi powered A coupe, my 47 coupe and @joegio 29 RPU. Also, anyone recognize that black 28/29 A roadster with the white top? He is a fellow HAMBer.

OK, For those that told me to go ahead and post my Kookie Car photos, here you go:

For those that have never been, when you do the Drive In part of the show, you have to get there early and line up with all the other suckers, errrr, I mean the other guys showing their cars . The next series of photos are of the line for the Drive In, and then the cars parked around the buildings. Some really great cars.

Nobody guessed about this car in my earlier post, this is fellow HAMBer @Fuzzy Knight's roadster.

 

More Drive In photos. This year they moved us in earlier than usual, they surprised me, and I didn't get as many shots of the line up as I wanted.

 

When we got moved in, they parked us at the very end of the show. We parked, but we weren't happy about our spot, felt like we got short changed. There wasn't room for the 4 of us to park together.

Later on Joe & I went for a walk and found a much better location in between the buildings, we moved our cars, but the other guys were settled and didn't want to move.

This little RPU is an attention getter. After we moved Joe ended up parked between a nice 32 Fordoor and a really hot LS powered T-bucket. It was a nice parking spot with a lot of foot traffic, and damn if that little RPU didn't pull at least twice the attention than either of those other two rods. And it sure sounds great too, got a really nice lope to the idle, you can see the heads turn to see what was making that beautiful noise as he idled through the crowd to his new parking spot.
