Correct me if I'm wrong, but I always the Suede Palace cars were meant to be works in progress. Fit and finish on these cars seem to be at a higher level every year.

I'm looking through old photos, here's a car I saw in 2003 at the MSRA show in St. Paul. I'm having trouble sorting out what the taillight lenses are from.

Well I think you guys pointed me in the right direction ... looks like they may be from a 62 or 3 Mercury Meteor.

 

Man, like a drop of hot wax! that is cool. Love the front end.

 

Without googling it, I thought the Mercury Meteor was more of a bullet style lens. My money is still on 55 Plymouth.

 

So, I too have been perusing these pages for a while now. I, like someone else said earlier in this thread that he’d been stingy with his likes. I’m guilty of that as well. Been an admirer of Kustoms since I built them in 1/25th scale when kits cost $1.49. I own a mild kustom 64 Olds and have had many Oldsmobile’s. I will be a much more generous with my opinion. Love and read this at least once a week. Thanks and please do not stop.

. Thanks, you would certainly know,but I still had to go to google and learned something,lol, 62 and 63 Mercury Meteor had different taillights, guess I was thinking both years were the same.
