Back at it working on the front of car from headlights to firewall . Mounting coil to have room for hood side panels and adding radiator hoses.
Love the look and work on that floor. Now that I have my motor out I'm looking to get rid of my wood floor. Very inspiring.
Wow, don't know how I missed this but your fab work is awesome! On your paint, I know it says black, but does it turn out a light gray? I know the hammer in the spray can does, never seen it in a gallon before. I painted my dragster chassis with it, holds up great.
Alum is 5052 and the top will have 90 degree bend to set 9n top of a 1x1 tube. I hope this answers your questions.
Working on hanging doors I am finding its not easy doing this by myself but still a fun thing to see the door on at last. Next I put on all the trim parts on the inside of the door good thing I took pictures.
I´ve just found your build thread and just want to let you know that I´m pretty jealous of your set of skills! Nice details and great craftsmanship! Thanks for sharing!
Your building a beautiful ride! I get so excited when I read build threads like this, it motivates me to keep moving on my own. I'm also realizing that I may be able to turn wrenches pretty well, but I am so far behind in the fabricating side of things.
Found out I had to move my seat back so out came the cut off wheel and two days of work to reconstruct the floor. 6 foot 5 needs more room than normal.
@chop job this is one of my favorite posts. You certainly do quality work. I’m taking notes for my future 29Sedan build. It’s been parked in the back of the shop for about 20yrs, Lisenced, titled and waiting patiently. Keep up the awesome work.
Never did much body work before so this is a real learning experience. Everything is easy if you follow the instructions RIGHT? SO far so good.
