Congrats to Brian Auderer of the Kontinentals car club for winning Best of Show with his beautiful green '29 Model A 2 door sedan. He also ended up taking him the prestigious Roy Brizio Award. Best Hot Rod went to Steve Dykman of the Estranged car club with his '63 Candymatic Dodge Super Stocker. Best Custom went to Bill Bergen with his Sledge Customs built '39 Merc Coupe. Thanks to all of the car clubs that participated in my Suede building, especially Estranged from the Pacific Northwest (attended with 10 badass Drag Cars) , Kontinentals from TX, and Los Cochinos from TX. All the best, Axle
Cool Beans That A is always a favorite of mine. Candymatic, is that the one with the Ramchargers on the side? Not new by any means paint?
From Terri @Born a HotRodGal Brizio-Hollenbeck: This years BRIZIO FAMILY AWARD at the GNRS went to Brian {@beatnikontinental} Auderer with his 1929 Model A Sedan driven from Austin TX for the show, which he and his friends have done many times. #GottaDriveThem #BrizioFamilyDrivenAward image by Eric Geisert
Hey Axle, Thanks for having my Merc in your great Suede Palace show. It was a pleasure meeting you and a HUGE surprise to get the Best Custom award. Thanks again for everything. Bill Bergen
