Have a pair of front '34 ford fenders that I believe came off a truck. Is there a way to positively i.d. what they came from? Is there any interchangeability between car, p/u, and truck?? Thanks-
Car and truck fenders are different. Car fenders join in the middle, truck fenders end at the frame rails and there is a pan that goes between them.
Any pictures of the fenders? I've always thought that the fenders from a big truck and a pickup are different and not interchangeable.
33-34 pickup fenders fit pickup and large truck. They look a lot like 32 fenders, but there are ways to tell the difference. If you post some pictures i can ID them. 33-34 car fenders are nowhere near alike
You can distinguish 32 from 34 truck fenders by the 34 fenders having a "relief bump" where the rivets for the front crossmember are. A 32 fender does not have this bump in the fender. These would be on the mounting surface where it touches the frame next to the radiator shell.
Do the truck and pickup interchange? I am parting with these and want to give an accurate description as possible...
