Full tilt front end from cowl through grill including radiator and front fenders/running boards are history in this shot.

Yes those are quad headlights. This version was called "Plum Cherry" built by Ben Sebastian a car show promoter who bought the "Northern Star" from Jerry Berg. The quad lights were gone when I got it, with the cavities full of bondo upwards to 3/4" thick.

I spent a lot of time, labor and money to make it look like I didn't do any anything.

My '37 Austin sedan when I bought it summer of 2010. My oldest son asked why I bought a "London cab"?

December 2019, before most disassembly and paint. Bias plies, chevy grill, Mercury hood scoop, and other modifications.

By April 2020, it should be painted and back on the road again. Third significant rebuild.

Nothing too drastic, a lot of new sheet metal and a lot less big gaping holes and rust and rot and I've accumulated most of the important bits like engine, trans, steering, seat, etc. Someone at some point started parting it out so its been a constant search for stuff. Still probably a solid yr before its out and about
