Just me, and meaning no disrespect, Anthony, but I like to re-use my old hardware, as long as it is in good condition. I have been so anal at times, that I would be certain to put each individual bolt back in it's original hole. Crazy, perhaps, but there are certain cases where I love originality to it's core.

  2. I snap up all the NOS hardware I can find on E-Bay. Another source is aviation salvage yards.

  3. Must have misunderstood.
Assembling with cheap hardware store stuff saves wear and rear on the bolts you actually use when finished.
I’m with ya on using correct period fasteners.

Hard to reuse old bolts when you are starting from scratch. Like this. Not using the frame. Scan0607.jpg
