On road trip today and to my surprise found these vehicles. Don't know anything about them or who owns them. Located across street from SunSouth, John Deere Tractor Dealership, in Bainbridge, GA.
The old man that owned those cars passed away a few years ago,he has more that are in better condition too. The son that owns the car lot next door now owns all the cars, they are for sale. I live in Bainbridge. The guy that owns the car lot is named Jimmy, hes a good guy.
Full disclosure, I have no experience in saving cars or trucks that have been put out in fields as seen here. If all of these are taken to the finest media blaster in the area, blasted using the finest materials in the industry, then primed using the finest primer in the industry, how does that save bodies that look to me will disappear the instant the media blaster starts peeling off the rust? If that is all minor rust that can be buffed out then what is the standard for a lost-cause rust bucket?
just looking at the photos all those bodies would be pretty good as far as just the rust we see. there could be pitting after blasting, maybe some holes here and there. generally if you can't jab a screwdriver through the body with your bare hand you can blast it and fix it.
most of these cars were kept inside until he died, then the son put them out by the road and sold the building. There are more nicer cars in the other building.
