I thinking of getting another pair of American Torq Thrust wheels to mount another set of slicks. The ones I have now are 15x8 using a mag lug. All the ones I have seen listed on the web sites use conicle style lugs. Are people racing with this newer version of lugs ?

Gorilla sells a lug that partially goes into the newer wheels. I used them on mine. Can't remember the number but if you go to their site they are a few pages back. I believe they ar a much better choice in lugs.

I bought these new fifteen years ago , they have a shouldered mag lug. The they offer now on Jeg’s site look the same, but use the conical style lug.
Here is the car they are on.

Thank you. I wanted to get Real Rodders Wheel , Halibrand copies but they are four hundred a wheel. The Torq Thrust are only $125 each.

Call and ask before ordering a set. I ordered a set of 5 wheel studs from summit , they sent me one. I called them and and they said the price was each not 5. Typo was the excuse. The box it came in said qty 5. One stud cost me $12 , for a stock wheel stud. rant over I still order from them.

Look up Gorilla ET/Ultra conical before you buy just conical. The ultra extended shank extends into the new style Torque Thrusts making it center on a shoulder instead of just the lug angle.
