  4. It's real easy, post it in the classifieds, bump it once a month, wait about a year, reduce the price several times until your losing money and then one day some body not affiliated with the Hamb buys it, simple. HRP

After a slow start I took the engine out of my Crosley. Small engine, small car but still takes a bunch of time!

Our Dog died today, custom made a box for him, he is now in his favorite pachysandra bed in the back yard, we can look at him for the rest of our lives. Great little guy. Bob

I've always thought the paint was a let down, sign of the project ending. Bob

Continued to muck around in the cab of my '37

January 23rd 2020 Turned my attention to the dashboard. Looks fairly straightforward. It should come out after four screws and the windshield crank mechanism handle is removed. It did, tho' there was some jockeying around, joggling this way and that, after it was loose. The next thing to consider is the wiring still attaching it to the cab.

    Can’t wait to install this.

    rebuilt 59L engine.

You get the same result if you just chew a little Red Man chewing tobacco and spit it on the inside of your lens. Take a handkerchief or paper towel or your finger and smear it around, then wipe it dry. Worked for me for a long time welding on water towers on some of the coldest days as well as the hot, humid ones. Probably a damn sight cheaper than that Clarity stuff with the French translation. ;):D Wonder how Red Man translates in French?

  22. Drove around town in a million dollar truck, chasing the smell of smoke and natural gas, crawled around in a training house full of fake smoke, and had a wonderful supper of pork chops and fried potatoes :D this shit ain't easy :p

  27. Made new shock mounts for the '33; couldn't get the standard multi-hole-weld-on-the-axle-tube mount to locate the bottom of the shock where I thought it should be. IMG_20200122_121033.jpeg

    From the BillyBob Shop log

January 24th 2020 The dashboard wiring needed some deep ponder mode time to determine the best approach. Let loose the side cutters of war or try to preserve the existing wiring harness for comparison when the new wiring harness is installed? Preservation won out. Beer of the day is Christian Moerlein Brewing Company's Northern Liberties IPA.

  30. Got a couple of starter jumpers made up, did the bending last night, made a quick & dirty jig with dowel pins and scrap aluminum. Still cold in the shop and I have a couple of fingers that go numb fast. Going to try to get them solder dipped at work, otherwise mask the contact areas and hit with VHT paint.
