  4. HAMB styling at its best. The few & the proud, amongst a sea of b.s. "other" threads. Thank you for posting.

Kudos to the family, as well. :)

Be sure to post your IG tag. Some of us, like sneaking cell phone hot roddin' when we can. Don't tell the boss !!

That's awesome that you include your daughter in the build. That's going to be a nice ride when you're done. Here's my oldest daughter helping me with my '29 sport coupe. IMG_20190520_183112680.jpg

  6. Haha thanks you man.

She loves it and tells the teachers at day care about her hot rod hahaha.
    That’s great to see man.

  9. Ahh thank you man, I have that magazine too.
There is so many great examples of east coast 32’s in my magazine collection but obviously a model a is what I gotta work with and I’m stoked. Tossing the idea of nerd bars around too.
    Cheers

Looks like you are traveling in the (fire) smoke but still enjoying the Hot Rods as you tour.

My friend's father owns the Fred Steele roadster. I will be at his garage in February hanging with this car and many other beautiful hot rods and customs.

Nice work so far Des, keep the updates coming. Good to see another traditionally styled hotrod build in Oz. "Diluting the street rods", love it. Subscribed

Nice work, D-Russ. It’s cool to see it chronicled in one place like this. Keep at it buddy.

  20. Here’s a little progress update for now. Spent a long weekend and got a heap done on the body.
Now this body is good but requires lots of standard patches that they all do.
When I bought this body it came with a lot of patches to repair everything.
Some fit good. Some not so good but all require lots of clamping, trimming, hitting and moving to fit.
I’ve managed to get one whole side nearly all done and tapped up as good as I can, or as far as I’d like to take it.
Also, I’m not very good at farming out work, but seeing as I really really want to get this thing done I took my doors and grille shell out to him to get into high build primer stage. He nailed it and it felt good paying a friend to do some work on the car.
    Check the photos below.
    More work coming shortly.

Nice. Look at that chassis all the way over the other side of the shed. Is it saying goodbye to the triumph?
