They owned a AMC dealership on South Park in Lackawanna NY We almost had them install a AMC independent front end in our car in the 80s. Went to their shop a few times Someone built a nice 40 Ford there around them. Also had an old Altered at the same time. My father told me about the flame then and we had the Hot Rod magazine with it in there
Dooley, Ed here from Orchard Park My Grandmother lived around the cornerfrom their shop, and back late 50s early 60s I used to go to their shop & stick my face on the windows with the hope that they would invite me inside so I could maybe learn something. Didn't happen This after noon while at Wegmans I ran into my daughter inlaws sisters mother in law (yea I know....) Who I never knew is Walt Holyinski daughter. Told her that I would try to get info here at HAMB What part of town do you live? ed
Never heard of it before but I like it, nice proportions. Must have been a crazy handful with a dual quad '56 Packard engine in it.
Aloha Gents, "The Flame" is with Al Webster, Gromley, Ontario, he recently showed it a show: Cobble Beach Concours in Canada. I have recently found another Holynski built car, a sports car and am trying to collect further information on it. I will be happy to send a photo or two of the car, but I am not sure how to include photos on this website, any help with this will be appreciated. Ralph
