    @rudestude that's one hell of a complimentary addition to verify how Cool this Ride really is...I did not know the background of it and yes it has had a fair amount of work done to give it that look that's for sure...thank you for sharing these juicy bits...;)

    Oh for the days when that was a "show car".

    Yes loved that movie and the series in the TV show when they made the road trip to California. There was more truth in travel back then than most today realize. Crumby motels, bad food, breakdowns, crooked repair shops, vengeful local cops. It wasn't all kicks on 66!

    :rolleyes:...I sure would like to see the race ready version as they were on to something...

    Okay finding AHRF info tied to a random picture can be a challenge but this one above did lead to a Story...

    This 33 Willys was literally a Rooftop Display at a wreckers for attracting hoodlums back in the day and of course someone thought it belonged on The Strip and it was purchased and turned into just that with a Hemi and tube chassis by Royce McClintick in the early 50s...He worked for Summer Bros and was involved in the Goldenrod Streamliner Project and also raced motorcycles in his go fast Life...Royce left us not to long ago...RIP Hotrodder...

    @anthony myrick I think this was involved in TROG recently...at least something very similar and it had a Whippet Shell...coincidentally I think the story was it was a school project to boot...;)
