That's a cool idea that my best friend did to his pickup when we were in high school! Came in very handy to say the least!

Fixed the headlight adjustment on the 66 C10.
Discovered that I need more JB Weld to fix the crack in the 327 SBC. It is not in every store here in the Netherlands. In fact, I only know one store. Gonna order it tomorrow.

I was shorted one of the double banjo fittings from Speedway for the 3-2 set up; I’ll call Monday (a pi- - er) so I drilled and tapped the center adapter for a PCV fitting on the back and a vacuum fitting on the front. On Tom Langdon’s HEI he wants manifold vacuum and not venturi. BCDF1555-2A72-420F-A0C1-E914CE3F53B9.jpeg D4641D61-00EB-41CE-85FE-1D8CA966E34C.jpeg

  5. Got up before the chickens and started cleaning up all the downed tree limbs from last nights storm and high winds, thankfully we missed the worst of it this time and we didn't loose any big trees. HRP

  6. You got luckey like I did. Trees down all around me but I was spared this time.

De rusted, prepped and epoxy sprayed the top of my firewall. School boy error tho, no thinners, so its very rough, like bed liner, a little more work to do....

  8. when we bought this corner there where a lot of very big trees here. I took a D8 caterpillar and pushed them all over. some of the stumps where so big they filled the bed of a 6 yard dump truck. I didn't want then dropping leaves limbs or falling on my vehicles. And later we had a epic ice storm. and we didn't have To worry. The power grid was down for weeks. At present there is a Magnetic pole shift happening. These storms and clatyclismic events will increase in both magnitude and occurance.

After putting the new tires on in the rain last night, I put the new carpet in today. Wasn't impressed with the padding the carpet came with, so added another layer of jute under it. Next up: seat upholstery 20200112_230536.jpg

Finished up the 9" install on my buddy Steve's 50 Olds. Came home from shop and pre lubed the Caddy 390. All went well and the rockers oiled right away. Good day in my book.

  14. I took the BFH to my toe board and pinch weld to fit my fenderwell headers, I totally forgot about massaging this area on both sides before painting it..duh
Then put the front up on Jack stands and pulled the wheels to go through the front end, packing bearings, putting the 90/10 shocks on, started assembling the disc brakes.

  18. It was 55 and windy by me Saturday, Sunday sunny and 66. Got some help to turn the Ford around and back it into the garage, we have decided the starter is shot. I have to remove the passenger side motor mount bolt and lift it a bit to get past the cross member, will work on it during the week after work. Cleaned the Ford out, checked the fluids and got a formal to-do list going. Also picked up trash that blew onto my property.

I have been on vacation, and working on my old garage. Finally got heat, and closing in the attic.

  21. Bought a pallet load of OSB at HD and an air nailer from HF to start covering the interior of the new shop. Air nailer works pretty good, we'll see how long it lasts:rolleyes:. Set up my "poor man's laser" and got one wall completely covered. Much more to do.

Just be sure to put a few drops of oil in the air inlet of the nailer and it will most likely work for you for a long time.

Good thing I parked my tractor in my shop last night, -20 this morning and snow plowing was #1 job to get around my yard. Yep, fucking cold, 1.5 hours later, done, both me and the tractor, then two wheel barrows of firewood up on the deck, we're having the cold snap from hell here. Then, load all the garbage and my two mutts, head for the landfill, then into town for the mail, finally home and had a snooze. Two more days of the cold snap, then back to regular winter, hell its even cold in my shop. Tomorrow bright and early I'll fire up the wood stove in the shop and pound away on the 41, love those days. DSC07513.JPG

On Monday I took videos & photographed history in the making.

The only largely original surviving 1904 Ford Model B was bump started & fired on
    three of four cylinders.

    E8EF12DB-CF31-4674-9DEE-A7C2492E65AD.jpeg

A bad ignition coil kept the fourth from firing.

This was the first attempt after a year long restoration process & it was a success.

Then I added 200 Sq ft of overhead and about 400 sq ft of shelf. That’s kinda like a 600 sq ft addition right? I killed 60 sq ft for the walkway though. Lost 1 for every 10 I gained.
