no news, it's waiting patiently in a pile while another project takes front and center.
I have gathered a few more bits and pieces though,
so when it does start to come together there will be a little more to work with

    Yesterday
I pulled a pile of sheet metal down off the shelf
Leaned it together, moved it around and settled on a loose plan.
The front section will be trimmed about four inches behind the door/reveal and the rear will get trimmed close to the rear of the rear doors.
At this point I plan to use a '21? turtle deck, I had planned on a shortened model A pickup bed but this turtle deck is in better shape than my pickup bed, and I'm liking the look.

Great car for inspiration. That’s a great time period to work in. I like everything about that car except for the bullets in the wheel centers and the spread of the exhaust pipes, they need to be nested together more to not look so gangly.
Your blown Olds mock up looks mean. Glad to see you’re back at it.

I plan to use a front suspension similar to Grabowski's and Ivo's Ts
'37 Ford V8-60 axle with spring behind and four bars using tie rod ends

kinda like this, if you can make it out:

ground the raw edges off the axle receiving ends,
(this might get some more grinding to reshape to a less angular look)

cleaned them up with a wire cup on a little grinder
and test fit on the axle with some spring on top pins,
pins will either get cut or I'll buy the correct ones..
