Been working at this for about 6 months now. I got the truck in original condition as a dump truck. I tore the body off and built a new floor and firewall so I could sit it on top of a 95 dodge 3500 chassis with cummins. Just need to finish off the bed now and paint her up. Here's a few pictures. I'll update as more get done.

Are you sure it's a '51? My Gramps bought a pair of '51 F22s new, and also a pair of '53 F20s, and each time drove a couple of his guys to the factory in Lansing to drive them back to NY. Why I ask, the 53's had the headlights recessed into the fenders like yours has, but both of his '51s had the headlights floating on brackets that were bolted to the fenders. I have a picture of his little fleet lined up around '54, with one of the F22s and the pair of F20s. OA331 REO engine was the sweetest sounding six ever- little howler

Please don't leave the paint looking like that. The truck is too cool to be " patina'd ".
