Ford wasted very little . crank looks like a factory F#&k up and fix .Lurve to see how it runs on a balancer ! I have a 59a crank with some weird "extra" jobbies that were done from factory, dont know why .

Damned if I don't have one of these too. Bought a " mercury" motor today, of course the crank turned out to be ford. But it's ground very similarly. IMG_20201031_113717.jpg

Since no one has any real good answers...:D for kicks and giggles I would get the crank balance checked to see if some guy (who may have thought he knew what he was doing )Had a couple too many Schlitz's then tried to clean the crank up. If it turns out it's ok, (which I doubt) it probably was a Smokey Yunick experimental crank. :D Hence the stamp. LOL
