    It's not American, but that headlight treatment to me works best on a car of that era.

    This is my 49 Dodge Wayfarer Roadster ( originally ) ! It has 51Ford headlight rings , 59 Buick headlight buckets , 58 Edsel headlight doors , and Lucas Flame Thrower Lenses and bulbs ! My 49 Dodge.jpg Sonny

    Glad to see your post, Sonny. I first saw your Dodge as a teenager, about a hundred years ago, wearing Buick (Riviera?) wheels. It remains one of the most original and best executed customs I have ever seen.
    You have always been patient with my interest (going so far as opening the hood, so I could see the beautiful finish work underneath), and I thank you.
    BTW, what is the status of the chopped/sectioned/ de-crowned Merc you were building?

    X2 on what 'Mo wrote. Sonny's car stopped me in my tracks the first time I saw it in person. Always thought it was a very elegant car.

    Never seen Canted Quads with the top closer together than the bottom before. Can't say as I like it.
