Isn't that a repeat offender? I thought it ran thru an auction last year?

I couldn't agree more. One of the ugliest customs of all time.

Saw it at Lead East about 25 years ago, it was halfway restored.
We referred to it as the Half Aztec!
    Looks great finally finished.

The Hamb with the Hotrod/Custom Comradery Just like Greased Lightning

Hard to Imagine all in the Same Room
Without Fists Flyin due to Attitudes

    This is a Hotrod/Custom Site

    With All having Shaped
    The Scene the Hamb Reveres

I often wonder if this is a New Phenomenon or was this ignorance there all along...

    I appreciate the History
    Disrespect not so much...

    Thanks for Sharing @mikhett...;)

Imagine driving this car in the time period it was built! It must have been amazing.

I agree. Makes it hard to keep hanging around here sometimes.

The full roof is cool, the half roof is cool - er!
Always wondered if driving it would be possible without damage.

Why, so we can all agree with you? I love customs. This one is ugly.

    For real.
I'm thinking top 10. I'm cursing my inability to go to this auction and just raise my hand until it's mine. It is and has always been amazing.

This right next to the Ala Kart.

    In my garage.

    That would be great.

Just drive on in to any show you go to like a King and let every formulaic, Camry-colored piece of whatever bow down in worship.

no one asked for your's when you said you thought it was in the top 20.

Why are you offended? It's not like you built it. I don't think it's anywhere near the top 20, you do, so what?

  17. Whether you love it or hate it, Google the Aztec and read about its very interesting history.

  18. Seems like every winter, people just start getting crappy around here. Stuff like clicking on threads just to post negativity, busting on other member's cars or questions. No reason for it, it adds nothing to this site.

I wouldn't mind owning it but I would be afraid the feds would seize it again from me . Seized twice by the feds and just like the first time, that is the only way I could afford to buy it right now by robbing a bank. so I better just enjoy it from here and let someone with enough cash buy it.

  20. There is more than one person who adds nothing but continued negative comments. I don’t understand....

I also think the car is beautiful, my opinion only even though no one asked, it’s ok if you feel otherwise.

So is there a projected estimate that they think it will sell for? I haven't seen any sales flier on that auction yet and sometimes they post estimates on certain cars.

Honestly, I didn't really understand customs enough before the HAMB to fully appreciate them. The vision to see the finished shape before starting, let alone executing a body altering project is impressive. Vision and artistic talent are what it takes. A sense of style helps, too!

  23. Yup and a large number of the custom guys have left due to all the negativity around here on custom threads.

Chevy57Dude, that's the first overhead picture I've ever seen with the roof insert installed. Seems like it was mostly shown without it. Appears to have side windows too, I'd really like to see it with the windows up and the top on. Seems like it was built with at least some functionality in mind.

Custom guys need a double, triple like button for custom threads.

  30. I could care less what anyone thinks. Seems everytime I post a picture of one of my cars, some people have to make negative comments... I'm not going to let someone's criticism drive me away , my car is a work in progress.

Some custom cars work, some don't. You know what they say about " opinions".
