Well, I seem to have the "buy first, ask questions later" quirk about me, but I picked this coupe up today, not totally sure exactly what it is. I BELIEVE it is a dodge or plymouth, It is a 3 window, suicide doors with 3 hinges.... 20191228_171915.jpg 20191228_171931.jpg 20191228_171944.jpg but I DO know the experts here can tell right off. Here are a few pics for clues, and thanks for you guys help!

This thing was going to be a dirt oval track racer!!!!! At one time, but thank god it never got that far. The story I got is that the frame was cut at the cowl, and a totaled 58 Pontiac chassis clip was added. That includes a 370 Pontiac engine and trans. It got as far as "yard" running and driving, but was then pushed in the garage in 1962 where it sat until last year. That's the story I got anyway.

Nice, think I'd keep the body and look for a proper chassis. Bob

That's the plan, possibly on a set of deuce rails, or another early chassis.

  16. Check in with Dirtys Speed Shop on here - he's building a 32 Plymouth for a customer using lots of early Ford stuff....or follow him on Instagram because I'm not sure he's started a thread on it.

What's going on with that cowl? Homemade out of aluminum? Mighty ragged looking edge on it....

Yeah, that's the biggest negative about the whole thing. I will definitely be redoing that.
