Well, sorry guys, no news, Covid-19 is in the place about 4 weeks, I can't work on the car, no garage, the car is in the street, and we obey to governement laws (a group of incapacitated people!!!!!)....last month I tried to start the car about 2 years. All is dirt, little rust on engine, one cooling hose crack. Before covid-19, I worked on exhaust pipe, and functional lake pipes....but I have stop about this fuckin' pandemia.

Just for you, I have a short video in my phone (February 2020), and for the fun, Hamb friends, just for share, with the old not finished bad exhaust (the first one past 2 years), the Pinto 4 Banger in the Frégate. The engine start and sound right. I need to do a lot of work to drive it again, my plan change about this summer, I think the car will not be ready, maybe for September.....news as soon as I can. Take care, protect yourself, that virus is a real bad thing......

Enjoy this short link, if you cannot see the video, you can download it.

Actualy, we are completely in nebula.....we must stay at home for a long time (maybe June or mid July!!!!!!), when we see other country, and place like Central Park this Sunday with people walking and have a good time, we don't understand what's happen with world decisions......here, in France, we must only go outside to buy food, have an authorization signed, if not, cops sign a covid infringement, 135 $........for twice, you can go in jail......it's very very strange what's happen here.....we cannot buy protection, mask or glove, all is manufactured in China.....so, we stay home......

Sorry to hear that you’re not even allowed outside, I have to say that’s extreme. A lot is shut down here as well, but really, you need to vote differently next time. Politics aside, still a great project!

We're allowed outside on certain conditions, my dad died last week (not sure of what) and I have a cousin (postal worker) on life support. My wife is immunodeficient, I don't take this shit lightly. Like I said to a coworker who's supper careless, if I get it because of him and give it to my wife and she dies, I'll shoot him in the face, politics aside...

    My sincere condolences Chrisp.

Of course, it's hard to stay confined, but country/state are not comparable, the problem is not the same if you live in the Middle of a forest with no neighbours, or in a city with many people...the problem with our dirigent, is that they don't know nothing, and try to tell us that everything is under control, liars...so, to protect the others, i respect all the recommandation....so, no work on the Fregate.....

We have a curfew here in Ecuador......14:00-05:00.
You can go out on days that are set to your ID last digit......Whatever bidness you need to attend to.,,,,,, 2 days a week.........Social distancing deals apply, and so many customers per store.

Driving: Certain days coincide with your tag #.
Buses not running, and taxi's arrange ahead for one that can drive on that day, ( tag #).

No vehicles moving on Sat. and Sundays..........It be's quiet around here!

It is just starting to warm up here a little, but that is life in the Rocky Mountains. I hope your employment situation gets better for you soon, looking forward to seeing the car on the road again.
