Hello all. I have recently a MU6 Vibro Shear and was curious if anyone has found a manual on how to use this. I sent a reply to a post I found on HAMB but noticed it was not in the correct area.

Also I would like some guidance on setting up the nibbler function. Mine tends to chew like a ninety year old man with ill fitting false teeth. I am assuming it needs a sharpen and setup for clearance between the two parts. I will have a play around but some advice may save a lot of heartache.

Thanks and Merry Christmas from down under.

A MU6 Vibro Shear is a bit like a PULMAX.

They were made in Japan and mine is from the 60's. The setup would be similar as for a Pulmax nibbler function.
I can find a few youtube videos but not much on how to use.

I am assuming the "Huh" was because I did not explain what a Vibro Shear is.
The attached picture is one the same as mine, not actually mine. They made different sized ones.

Someone here converted one into a planishing hammer or mini pullmax or something like that.

Once I work out how the nibbler side of tings work I was going to look into how these go as a mini Pullmax. I am curious what gauge of Aluminium or steel they can handle.

I have a manual for my MT4 but I have to dig it out. Should be similar tool clearances to your machine.

I haven't found my manual, but I did find these few scans I had done a while back. I'll keep looking. The angles on the tools are crucial to making good cuts. Clearance will depend on thickness of material.

Thank you very much. This will be a great starting point in learning how to use this. I am itching to get back home from my Christmas stay at my daughters to sharpen up the bits and see if it cuts any better.
