  3. Those pics of the Russian GAZ pickups have been floating around the internet for at least 15 or 20 years. I actually traced the black one to some small village in the Russian boonies near the Chinese border o_O. Needless to say i did,nt follow up on the info :oops:. Might have been Mongolia :confused:

  5. ^^^^^^^^ Looks like a Mercury 99 or truck engine with the double fanbelts and oilpan with that removable lower shield . ^^^^^^^^ Could be interesting. Also that red rebuild tag, you never know.

    I'm trying, but am hearing he won't part with it. "gonna fix it up someday" He filled the door handle holes, did some bodywork on the roof and doors, then left it in DP40 and sitting outside since the '90s. Madness.

    Got a friend with cars out back sitting. Got a model a frame (roller). From him the other day.
    Here's a few pics.
    My son just got a older corvette off of him. So he does sale them at least. From time to time.

    I've been told these are nearly inaccessible, they were somehow dragged or perhaps driven up onto this ridge and trees have grown all around them. Used to be some sort of old junkyard and I guess they just worked with whatever land they had, hills and all.
