Art & Inspiration 3x3 square photo thread

This Victoria is said to have been the first Chev V8 engine swap in Idaho Falls - late 1955. The builder is still with us and in his 80s now. These two pictures taken a few years later.

My maternal grandparents, Jim and Anna Brazie.
I wish I could tell you the Ford had a Full house Flathead, or a hot 303 Olds.
But other than the spotlight it was a bone stock 36 Ford.

Good idea with the bump Mark, it inspired me and I found a few more from Detroit 1972.
First pic was posted before, but here’s the engine it ran- Evans heads and looks like a slingshot 2 deuce manifold.
The kind of car that Baskerville would describe as an Uncle Daniel, just a very few tasteful modifications.
The ‘39 Deluxe belonged to a friend, Bud Bryan took one look and said “You’ve got the whole Megillah, a flatty, quick change and flames!”

 

Street scene, cruisin’ the fairgrounds. Anybody know what the first car is? Suicide doors and a distinctive cowl.
