  1. Article on Reinero in Dec '78 Corvette Fever if anyone has a copy.

Edit: looking closer that might be the Ray Farhner Vette. Not sure if Reinero was a future owner.

When I was young and dumb I ran across this car in a small town in Iowa. Bought it and sold it for a small profit. It was in a stae of decline, but all there and I drove a few hundred miles. What a idiot for selling it... right.

The Orange Crate looks awkward in that last picture ..
Usually when you see a picture of it it's of it in its show car form, its nice to see old shots of it at the track.
Even though it could hold its own at the shows and at the track you just dont see many picture's of it at the track.
Its good to see its still around .

Another shot of the Orange crate, actually a chopped and channeled '32 tudor, built by the Beard Brothers, and owned by Norm Cahill, then ownership went to Albert Drake.
Eventually ownership made its way to the Tindle Brothers were it became the "Orange crate"

Bang: I believe that's Tom McMullens roadster. His girlfriend Rose Gennesco was sometimes associated with it.

I really like the flames on that roadster. Cool how they stayed away from the louvers they can be a real time consumer to paint through/over.

That's the one I was trying to think of. I and some other people have posted a couple photos of her in a famous pose.
