Hot Rods gns 2020 whos going? early drag display pomona jan 24

just curious, whos going to the grand national? ive been out a few times for the hot rod reunion, but this is my first time to the roadster show. will be there for a few days to show a car in the early dragracing display there having, in addition to the roadster show. i know its not everybodys thing, but im looking forward to it. as of last count there is over a hundred early drag cars going to be there, alot of the cars that we grew up seeing. hope some of you hambers that attend stop by and say hi if you can.we will have the car in my avatar there. hope ya come out!

Is the early drag display on at the same time as the show? I was talking to a friend of mine a few weeks ago, and he is showing his roadster at the show, for his first time out there. I thought it might be neat to fly out, and check things out.
Any tips for an out of town person?

 

im kind of in the same boat with you, first time for this show for me also. the drag race display is the same time as the roadster show in a different building. very close to together. the nhra museum is right there close by. lots to see there. hopefully some more locals will jump in and give us some more options of things to do and see in the area. stop and say hi when you see the orange bantam!

 

NHRA museum is right there in the same place, like walking across an alleyway. The outside portion of GNRS will have cars behind the museum. Easy walk, you’ll be right there.

On Saturday night January 25th, Irwindale Speedway is having their first of the year "Night of Destruction presented by LKQ Pick Your Part". Lots of exciting car events. Within easy reach from Pomona.

rd martin, that is a fantastic ride -Sat is the best day for being a spectator - - will be there if I find right deal on a R/T flight - otherwise will go to the Big Turlock (Nor Cal) Swap Meet

 

Going there with the Murpho's crew for CK Deluxe, Ol Skool Rodz magazine. First time running the booth from this show and it'll be fun!

 

Wish I was going; it's on my bucket list. It's not in the cards this year. Have fun!

If you want to see all the buildings I suggest comfortable shoes. You can go through every building each day and see something you missed each day.
