I sent Ed my original 1962 Indy Nationals poster in 2001 and he signed it and had it duplicated to pass out again. I have to say it’s not a match, the long tail and double “d’s” in Ed are the tell.
That tag is 22 years old and He's 97 now, The "RON" on the tag could be his son who by the way is named RON

I practicly have lunch with Ed everyday at the burger joint we call "Iskyburger" and I will ask him on the plates and the tag signage
Just curious, how do you "practically" have lunch? lol I get reports on those meetings if anything earthshaking happens.
couple minutes away, The food there is OK I guess , but I go for the company. It use to be a racers lunch on Wed, but a bunch of the old timers pasts away so not so much anymore, the new group meets Wed at another place (they serve Beer)
