Car wise I've come up empty. Had a line on a 40 coupe, ended up being too much for my taste for a rusty stocker. Thought I had a line on a Tempest wagon but that didn't pan out either. Did manage to get my OT Mopar project at least undercover. Owned it a couple 3-4 years and finally got it out of the storage yard. So I guess that could be considered a save of sorts.

Now I've ended up with a smattering of parts. Not all ended up as saved due to poor storage. Mostly early 60s GM. Other than a Y block and 4 large logo 97s. Ended up with a 59 or 60 and 62 Pontiac 4bolt block.65-66 2 bolt YF code shortblock that is looking like may not end up being salvagable. Couple of #306 heads. 60 and 62 3x2 intake, unsure of year dual snorkel aircleaner. 62 Chevy T-10 trans. Sent some Olds and Chevy blocks and heads to scrap after being advised that they weren't within reason to be saved. Sorting and culling off the absolute junk is about done. None of that was really on the parts wishlist but it's what I ended up with this year. Been a bad year for losing acquaintances and family members with parts hoards requiring shed and garage cleanups.

This year was a 32 roadster body for my Son and a 32 fordor body for myself. Of course good speed equipment and I passed on a really rough 32 sedan.

Loads of boring bits and pieces to improve my car, the last of which are stuck somewhere between Conyers GA and Lower Austria (hopefully not lost)...

Adding I don't know how anyone can have more that one project, I have difficulties finding the time to do the things I want to do on mine, another vehicle would make it totally hopeless for me!

I bought a very crusty old flatty motor. You've probably seen my links to the videos. if not check the link in my signature. It may or may not get to run one day.

Brought home this roundy round body. Will be eventually mated to this old drag chassis.

Hey Old Wolf, could you find me a 315 Dodge Hemi? You seem to be able to find some really cool stuff.

  29. Hard to believe Ive never owned a HEMI. The Guy I gave the Desoto to is now 83. He raced A Hemi Rail Dragster in the 60,s. And he is a Mopar addict. And he had a good ten year jump on me collection all the Hemi engines in the region. He used to have a Hemi in his wrecker. He has never married so he could spend his money on collecting. If he would sell one It would be high dollar. He seemed excited that the Desoto has the one year only 350 dodge engine.
