Happy Friday the 13th ....

 

I don't find your pics / art cheesy. You have a neat way of putting these little scenes together
that sometimes look realistic, enough so that I've had to study the photo. Art takes many
different forms. It could be pop bottle caps or cut up license plates. Everyone is not going
to like what we do but it's ours and we should take pride in what we accomplish. I don't get
a ton of likes but I appreciate the ones I do get and thank those that take the time to give me
a like, the equivalent of a high-five.

 

I don't know how or why but I had a feeling I might piss you off. That's too bad as I
meant nothing but respect for your painting. When I originally saw it I knew it was
a perfect piece for matting and framing and simply wanted to put it in a good light.
It's since been deleted.

What the hell is the sense of posting artwork if it's not going to be presented in an
artful way? It's like having a bitchin' vehicle and not cleaning it.

 

Thanks for the kind words (quick85) and others too. I know that there's real Artist on here. But I just like to play. I'm very low tech, a pencil, pen and phone. lol Here's a 56 Nomad that I made from a convertible. HAMB Art ? Ron.....

Please excuse the less than "artful" presentation, I haven't had a chance to scan it yet, and may add some additional touches before calling it finished anyway.

I painted this at a brush bash last Saturday.

 

How do you know the original artist isn't a HAMBer ??? I used to post some of my photos until one day someone bitched that photos weren't art, so I quit posting, now here we are, again being dicktated what should and shouldn't be posted. Since I had already quit posting all that's left is to quit viewing, see ya Friday art show.
