Technical HAMB help cam ID

    I have a solid roller for a small block chevy. The numbers are
    Front CH
    Back 119566SM and 99A26.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated..

    I really cant help, other than to bump the thread.
    A guess might be that the CH stands for Chet Herbert.
    Maybe @Pete1 will see your thread and have some input, he's in the cam business.

    Scott , google says ( for what it's worth) #119556sm is a small base circle Crane cam ,8620 steel billet core. # 94b2a should be quality control marking. Again that's from the internet ,so?. Jerry at Medford speed may be able to help.

    Thank you. its unfortunate but the more I googled the more different answers I found.
     
  6. Google helps if you know the cam grinder. For instance you could google Chet Herber cam number 119566SM if you believed it was a Chet Herbert cam. I got an idea that it is not a crane, most of the crane cams I have seen had Crane stamped on them.
