I posted this a while ago and someone replied by posting a pic of the same car in the same building, but just a slightly different angle. I printed it out but can't find it. Who has it? Here's mine from 1968 in New York i took as a kid. THX
Looks like it had stock suspension for the 1967 season, the magazine pics were taken then. The straight axle was the change for the 68 season. Those were the days when you had to change something ever season to stay on the show tour.
I'm looking on eBay , that magazine was from Feb of 68 , I see lots but not that one , it may turn up , I think the mag ran from 66 to 74
Glad you found one I was looking through the listings for you but my tablet went dead lol, you will have to order it and tell us the story on it
that's weird , you said you found it , I looked at the link it was there , looked again to see what the price was and it was sold ... Thought you had bought it !!?? What the neck,, that's pretty odd it disappeared after you found it and posted that link
Funny how I keep stuff. In my pile of old car magazines, I found the cover from the one you want. No clue what happened to the rest of it. Nifty ad for Baldwin Chevrolet/Motion Performance on the back. Groucho, if you want it, I'll mail it to you. Just shoot me a PM.
I think I remember that ad for the Vette. Do you know what issue it was in? I have most issues from that era. THX
THANKS and much appreciated!!! But, now that the subject has come up again I'd really like to read that article. I wonder if that car still lives(?) This place is a wealth of info!
