    Flop,

You are certainly a metal master. Love what you are doing.

Flop, I think when it is all done , that Model A dash rail will look like it has always been married to the new dash! I can see it already!

I don't feel right making metal suggestions to flop... he is the go to guy...
but lacking those skills the lazy in me takes over... what if you trimmed the top 5/8" or so raised bead off the '30-'31 closed car dash rail... and run it as a cover to hide the seam between the dash and cowltop...
flop could leave a little extra dashrail when trimming and make a cool edge that rolls under and contacts the new dash...
    ... go flop go !

Dash rail will end up looking something like this but drop down the edges of the dash to take up the weird gap issues .

Last pic answered my first question. . . What dash is that? Very unique dash. Love it!
Second question- "My folding windshield stanchions" can you elaborate? Mine are a little guffey.[IMG]

Flop, will you finish this in time to run it on the beach? You can always put the fenders on after.

Messing around with a set of 32 fenders.... think late 30s coach built

Now will go with a 32 frame . 32 fenders . With the A ontop

What did the hood side panels come off of. Look like they came off a 12 cylinder car. Keep up the good work. Frank

Arg! Flop has gone everybody one better. Coach Work is quite a jump from his plebeian tin wrangling to esoterica. And, for one, I am all for it. About time for him to really strut his stuff. And, to build it for himself is icing on the cake. Like all who follow your amazing work, I can hardly wait to see your further choices. This is high drama. Wow!

32 Franklins were air cooled and needed big vents.

I was wondering where Flop is? He hasn't posted in some time, hope all is good with him. Really miss his magic shows.

IMO ‘28/29 fenders are the best looking ever made.
