I have a soft spot for them but lean toward the earlier 12 ports. A Skinner in our roadster lives on 80%. Arias/Howard on my bench getting ready for something.
Sixes rock! I drive an in-line every day. Very cool pictures, I read about Kay Sissel when I was about 12 years old in a book called “The Complete Book of Chevrolet”. I’ve been hooked on Chevies ever since. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Duggen Chevy ll fours were the basis for the Arias and may have been made from moulds 2/3's of the Duggen. Nick Arias Jr. sold everything to Joe Fontana who perfected it to an engine to be a force in midgets race cars. This also included an aluminum block. The Fontana Automotive was sold to an racing engine company in Indianapolis and they are still being made today. The last I knew they making over 325 hp on straight alky.
Here's my 12-port cross flow champ car engine first fire-up. Its a Ford so feel free to delete it if its considered a hijack. I just think readers here might like similar builds.
