I know they are out there. And I know they aren’t popular. But I have been at shows where people say their cars has a set of cast iron edelbrock flathead heads but the hood is closed.Scenarios like that. But never see the cast iron speed parts. So post pictures of any cast iron speed parts you have. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
I built this Split Manifold for a 235 261 Chev. 6 This is a split exhaust manifold for a 216 by Joe Alexander
I had this split manifold built for the 235 in my 36 chevy. I doubt there will be any performance gain, but it should look and sound cool.
Cast iron updraft for Model A or B Ford. Uses two Zenith carburetors. Name plate is missing but I recall seeing one that said manufactured in San Francisco and the companies' name had the word "Trojan" in it. A similar one made with aluminum is available for Charlie Yapp at the Secrets of Speed Society (SOSS). Should work well with the gravity flow gas tank on a Model A. Charlie Stephens
Those guys were just pulling your leg about cast iron parts - hence the closed hoods. Probably gave 100 mpg and went like a scalded cat too.
What about Fenton cast iron exhaust manifolds for a small block Chevy.... Or a small block Ford?????..... Sorry, no pictures...
Fenton made cast iron exhaust for maybe a dozen different engines. But I think the kid is talking about areas where we don't usually find cast iron speed parts.
