2loose- did you every find the cause of the TKIO shifting issues?

One of the best days of my vacation in Maui was sitting in Cheeseburgers in Paradise and watching the classic cars cruise thru Lahaina.

The other was eating at Leoda's and seeing a 1956 3100 cruise by (as I recall it was blue). Then the next day at the ABC store in Honokowai seeing the same truck and talking to the owner for a few.

Looking forward to getting back to Maui.

Many years ago I sat in an open air waterfront bar in Lahaina having a beer while the ladies shopped, one of the most enjoyable beers I've ever had.
Enjoyed a burger at the Hard Rock Cafe......until I got the bill.
Also did the cruiser bike ride down Mt. Haleakala, awsome experience, glad I did it while I could.

Currently having a problem with the shifter, something broke inside and it’s jammed up in 4th gear, so have to pull the tranny and take it apart to see what that’s all about ....

Am missing my wheeled buddies and my shop, visiting my grandkids in Seattle, but it’s a very worthwhile trip !!
I’ll be back at it soon .....

Wow over 2 yrs have flown by, I'm ok, just tied up with other family members having severe health issues, and I'm the caretaker, so just not getting out in the shop to work on my projects. Thanks for the input above, as this rig is a street legal 10 sec car at the strip, I need to unbolt the bench seat and roll bar to get the seat out and access the tranny from the top. Soon, very soon....
