How do you suppose the hood sides were formed? roll the curve first? punch the louvers first? Heck of a process either way
The louvers would have been hand formed at that time period. The louvers would have been put in the panel first in the flat panel an then the curve would have been formed. The panel thickness is probably 20 or 22 gauge. The louvers are not tall like the later ones. Some cleanup of the louvers would be needed.
I figured they were theater nerds making up the cast of some play or musical. The ‘64 Chevy looks rough enough for it to be during the ‘70s or ‘80s.
