It’s a 1963 Ford Consul Capri, sold new in Orlando, Florida, I bought it from the original owner in 1987 for $550.

Great build , there cant have been many Daimlers that made it over your side of the pond , they also did a 4 1/2 litre
Hemi in the Majestic , good engines but parts expensive and hard to find , love the classic Capri BTW

This car inspired me to shave the body smooth, it was a lot of work.

These Buick drums were my friend Voodoo’s, he was a HAMBer that died of cancer several years ago. He gave them to me before he passed away. I’m using them in honor of him. The backing plates were painted with Blake’s Flakes Chartreuse over a Kia color 537D8635-7E19-44B1-A707-1F00C9D86928.jpeg 87885963-7C31-406C-BCD1-6D04C28ECC58.jpeg DECC45A9-8907-4562-BBB5-D565662CE76C.jpeg C791A9B9-F3F6-4094-8326-1AA9B6B72753.jpeg 537D8635-7E19-44B1-A707-1F00C9D86928.jpeg 87885963-7C31-406C-BCD1-6D04C28ECC58.jpeg DECC45A9-8907-4562-BBB5-D565662CE76C.jpeg C791A9B9-F3F6-4094-8326-1AA9B6B72753.jpeg

My son Miles and I restored it. It was sold new in New York City by Fergus Motors. I grew up in England and my love for these cars goes back a long way. I always thought they were huge when I was a kid, but compared to American cars of the era they are so small.

Parts are so hard to find for Enfos.

Remember the car is just about finished, these are pics I’m sharing that were taken during the build which started about 18 months ago.

Hey Colin, how have you been? I still have the Mk2 Consul convertible, it's on a rotisserie awaiting its turn.
