Have heard the term "nosed and decked" thrown around quite a bit, what specifically is done to "nose and deck"?
along with the nose job, also has the corners rounded and the headlights frenched and the top chopped, if tossing terminology around.

San Jose, Ca., 1953: Emblems removed, hood and trunk were said to be "Molded, front and back..." Never heard 'nosed & decked' until around '58, in Car Craft or some such. "Door handles and side trim molded off" were usual gab, all the local 'Custom Guys' said it like that. "Shaved"...Never heard that one 'til around '58 or '59, we were 'hot rod guys', but I worked on my share of 'Mild customs'...had a few, too. 'Shaved'. Not my preference, I don't even do it to cars...
