    I got this in a box of auction parts, but not sure what it is. The right dial moves the needle. Any ideas from the experts?

    I think it would be called an AM radio head and connected to the actual radio with a shit load of tubes in it with a speaker.

    Interestingly , it is tuned to 580 AM. That is our local radio stations frequency here where I live.
