    Nope, a stent is nothing compared to what you've been thru! Now just go thru the cardiac rehab and do what the doctor tells you and you will be good to go.

    @JimSibley
    That is like comparing a head gasket R&R to a complete engine rebuild! Sheeeiit! Do what the Doctors tell ya and kiss your wife every chance you get...and remember to thank the Lord for every day! Next time I come to the 'kane I'm lookin you up. Behave yourself.

    Healing is harder than it looks. I start feeling better, and it becomes a mental game. Iwant to work on my toys and i know that it is not the right move.

    It's like a car, Jim. Fix it right the first time and you don't have to go through the expense and wasted time to do it again. Be patient. You can always skin your knuckles later.

  9. Good on the healing,just take it easy. I know staying out of the garage is tough. But follow doctor orders and rehab process. You had major surgery, recovery will take some time. It's also a lot slower as we get older.

    Hey Jim I don't know you other than the awesome cars you build and being on the HAMB But its like doing a ring job back in the day you have to slowly re seat the rings so they seal well. So as to what you went through it takes time to re seal. You don't want to go through that surgery again Please take it slow and easy it takes time to re heal. I didn't have that much done to me but I was at my shop and I was trying to start a pressure washer and thought I pulled a muscle in my chest had a smell of stale gas inside the shop and went outside for some fresh air ( didn't help ) so I closed the shop and drove home about a 20 minute ride. I was about 1 block away and called my wife and told her to call the paramedics I think I was having a heart attack, of course she though I was kidding her until I drove in the drive way she called then. They said I had a 100% blockage in what they call the widow maker, they put 2 stents in and told me I had another blockage in another artery at 60% but they cant do anything with that one until it is 70% ( go figure ) Sorry for the long rant. But what I am saying the cars will still be waiting for you, but you need to reseal yourself.
    God Bless my friend and take it easy,
    My and my wife will continue to keep you and your family in our prayers.
    Ron.

    You did all that since your surgery?
    You're an animal! LOL
    You got more done during your 5 months recuperation time than some of us do in 5 years.
    Really glad you're doing better, Jim.
    I'd say "go man go", but it looks like I don't have to.
