Anyone heard from Ratatouille? I'd really like to see how his new drivetrain worked out.

 

It's been nearly 8 months since he has been on the HAMB, hopefully he has work and can soon get his cool custom finished!

Well, it has been a long time......All pictures are lost on this post....I abandoned the car about 2 years in the street.....not running, no cover, doors locked.....I must repair / rebuilt / finish a lot, the only thing I can say is........

Thanks for your messages, before talk only cars/hot rod and here, customs, let me talk a little about my "disappearance", sorry about that, but I think people want to know a little (and for the newbies ;-), I'm French, try to do my best, outside, with limited tools and no garage, to build a car, a 1954 Renault Fregate).

Well, in fast resume, I'm still alive, the girl too this is the more important. After the swap engine on the Fregate (Ford 4 cylinders... pinto), I have just move the car to change place (troubles with neighbors) and I cannot work on the car, because I was in trouble with a "bad" guy who doesn't like me. After that, yes, life is hard, and I'm a no money man....and I cannot continue the car, I have made a choice, drop the Fregate.

No garage, i let the Renault with no cover (2 snowing years), close from the trafic road....well, that's life.

By the way, why no money man? I'm a Pianist (nobody knows that in fact), and my Job in France is like find water in desert....... Ok just for share, I think some people here like music, 2 links, after that, I never talk about that here

That's enough for the megalomaniac moment.

My hands must be clean, piano keyboard is white.....but now, i'm bore to see the car fall into ruin. It's time to finish that car, and take the road.........next post, work in progress ;-)

Hello Hamb friends, nice to read you too

Well, I am lucky, nobody have stole something on the car, the rest of the bad body trouble is my fault. Just few days before i drop the work on the car, I have decided to paint the roof like "The Moose" photoshop, some kind of brown Coca Cola metal flake color......I have decided to remove the sticker "Lowrange", and the Chinese chrome on the roof. I have sand this area, not finish the day work, put quickly a can primer, to protect for the night......wrong Ratatouille!!!!, duration 2 Years.....
All this area are rotten, I must re done everything, for the next time I must use hammer, dolly, and no more mastic!
