Picked this base plate up for a scoop at the swap meet but doesnt fit my SBC scoop so wondering if its for a BBC. The carb mounting area is about 4" across from one another in the short area and about 14 1/2' apart on the outer diameter. Would this be for BBC? Also wonder if the brand of tunnel ram would change this? Such as weiand or edelbrock?

All of them, Edelbrock, Weiand, Offy are about 9" c to c. What is your intake? You can always cut and weld the plate.

I keep coming up with these home made plates from swap meets that are not 9" on center
cant imagine that someone could not measure that well. They must fit something. I have 2 right now

There are a few different ways to put two fours on an engine...tunnel ram, blower, low rise dual quad, etc.

I doubt any of them have the same spacing. I have two different blower carb adapters, with different spacing.
