Technical Distributor generator metal ID tags

  1. Where do you guys get your metal, generator, distributor, firewall, ? GM, Ford, ID tags?

    When I have them, they came with the part or the car.
     
  3. Thanks. What I was referring to, when those tags are tore up, missing, unusable. Where can you get new ones made, or replacements?

    Good shit in general, always has a data plate. With rivets. Smells like machine-oil and Ozone. Even a pre-war Lionel locomotive has a data plate.

    Vinyl stickers, barcodes, and incomprehensible gibberish just doesn't do it for me.

  7. As truck doctor stated . 888-274-5562 they have a good selection and most are around $10 price range. As I recall on the generator a black tag is 6 volt and a red tag is 12 volt the number indicates year.month and day of man. Example 2m28 is 2 is the year...m is the month...28 is the day. Hope this is of some help.
